Branch Out Week is an opportunity for everyone to make ‘evangelism’ fun and practical (and get a reward for doing so!) The goal is to take one non-church friend on one day during Branch Out Week and hang out with them. You could take them to a movie, lunch or just talk to them on the phone. The object is to get everyone contacting anyone to build a better relationship with them. The key to this event, and all evangelism, is relationship.

Studies show that people will come to church with someone way before they will come on their own. People travel in packs with their friends. We want to help you be a better friend to someone else, and will reward you for doing so. For every person you spend time with during Branch Out Week, we ask that you fill out a little card explaining what you did and who you were with. Each card will act as a ticket in a random drawing for a $25 gift card to a place of the winners choosing. Look at it this way: You can have your cake and eat it too! How simple is that?
