Mike and Pam Lumbard have been appointed to develop
and direct the School of Global Leadership – Trinidad, by the Board of International Ministries of Open Bible
Churches. Their calling, leadership abilities, and ministry experiences make them uniquely qualified for this
position.
Mike and Pam Lumbard are graduates of Open Bible College and INSTE Bible College. They are both Master
Teachers. Since 1980 they have served in churches in Florida, Arizona, and Iowa. They planted a church in
Arizona and pastored there for 17 years. From 2001 to 2009 they served as senior pastors at Eastwood Church of the Open Bible in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to ministering in a local church, they have been involved in launching ministries like the Des Moines Dream Center and Des Moines Master’s Commission. Both Mike and Pam have been involved in Open Bible leadership on the district, regional and national levels. In
addition, they have been on numerous missions trips and directed camps and coached church planters.
Mike and Pam believe that their calling is to help raise up and equip the next generation of leaders. In two of the churches they pastored, they sent out a steady flow of students to go to Bible college, Teen Mania, YWAM, INSTE and Master’s Commission. Now they are focusing on raising up the next generation of global leaders in the area of missions.
Open Bible’s new missions training model – School of Global Leadership – will be launched in Trinidad in the fall of 2010. The School of Global Leadership has the potential to identify, equip, and release emerging leaders for missions.
The Lumbards have two sons, Jonathan (married to Rebecca) and Jordan (married to Lindsey, with daughter, Madison) and one daughter, Ashleigh, who will go with them to Trinidad.
